Dr. Lance Vicente, D.M.D.
Dentist
Lance Vicente, D.M.D. was born and raised in New Jersey. After graduating from Ramapo College of New Jersey Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology, he went directly to Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (Formerly UMDNJ) to receive his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry. During his time as a dental student, Dr. Vicente was honored to be accepted into Gamma Pi Delta, the Prosthodontic Honor Society, due to his clinical excellence. During his fourth year, he was selected amongst his peers to provide remote care to the Navajo people at Four Corners Regional Health Center in Red Mesa, Arizona. He then went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center, where he received further training in all aspects of dentistry, including root canals, oral surgery, fixed and removal prosthodontics, implant placement, pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, special needs dentistry, operating room dentistry, and the management of medically complex patients. Dr. Vicente enjoys working with a wonderful staff and a loyal patient base.
Dr. Vicente is an attending physician at Hackensack University Medical Center's Center for Dentistry, where he both maintains operating room privileges and helps guide and mentor eighteen residents annually. His clinical focus with residents is medically complex patients, special needs patients, comprehensive treatment planning, and comprehensive operating room treatment in addition to general professional mentoring. In addition to his formal training, Dr. Vicente takes roughly 100 hours of continuing education annually to further his understanding in more complex aspects of dentistry and medicine, including full-mouth rehabilitation, dental sleep medicine, and advanced surgical techniques.
Dr. Vicente maintains active membership in and affiliations with many organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA Member), American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM Qualified Dentist), New Jersey Dental Society (NJDA Member), Bergen County Dental Society (BCDS President 2024), Hackensack Meridian (Hackensack University Medical Center Attending Physician), NJ State Identification Team, Dental Lifeline Network (Donated Dental Services of NJ Board of Directors), and the Kois Center for Dental Excellence of Seattle (Tribe Member).
Dr. Vicente currently lives in Nutley, NJ with his wife, Gina, and children, Olivia and Luke. Some interests and hobbies of his include technology, disc golf, and spending quality time with friends and family. Dr. Vicente is always accepting new patients and will always make time for a patient with a dental emergency.
Dr. Jaya Gamble, D.M.D.
General Dentist
Jaya Gamble, D.M.D. is a New Jersey native born and raised in Bergen County.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science from Rutgers University, she graduated Magna
Cum Laude and was a member of the School of Arts and Science Honors Program. Dr. Gamble
developed a strong foundation in the sciences that continues to inform her approach to dental
care. Her passion for research is evident from her time as a Research Assistant in Dr. Elizabeth
Snyder's laboratory, where she was published as the primary author for her work in
Reproduction.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers University School of Dental
Medicine, where she distinguished herself consistently making the Dean’s List. Her outstanding
performance and commitment to this field were recognized through multiple honors and
awards for leadership and academics including the Dr. Jeanne Craig Sinkford Student
Leadership Award, NJDA Endowed Scholarship, the Phoenix Dental Endowed Scholarship, and
the Rutgers SAS Excellence Award. Dr. Gamble’s leadership capabilities were demonstrated
through her roles as President of the Student National Dental Association RSDM Chapter and
mentor in various dental education programs. Dr. Gamble has effectively organized community
service events, such as Impressions Day, guiding future dental professionals.
After dental school, Dr. Gamble attended a general practice residency at Hackensack University
Medical Center. In this program she focused on complex comprehensive dental care and care
of medically compromised patients. Dr. Gamble’s extensive training also includes advanced
techniques in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, ensuring that her patients receive the highest
standard of care.
Dr. Gamble is known for her gentle touch and patient-centered approach. She takes the time to
listen to her patients' concerns and works collaboratively to create personalized treatment
plans that meet their unique needs. Her warm demeanor and clear communication make every
visit a comfortable and positive experience. Dr. Gamble prides herself on combining her passion
for dentistry with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
In addition to her clinical skills, Dr. Gamble is committed to staying at the forefront of dental
advancements. She regularly attends continuing education courses and participates in
professional organizations such as the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of
General Dentistry (AGD), and New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA).
Outside of the office, Dr. Gamble enjoys exploring new countries and cuisines, and spending
time with her family and friends. She is also an avid reader and loves spending time outside
with her dog.
